UFC 241 Daniel Cormier vs Stipe Miocic Fight Pick & Prediction

UFC 241 free fight pick prediction who will win
The UFC 241 main event features a heavyweight championship fight!  This one is a rematch and a chance for Stipe Miocic to get redemption.  Stipe Miocic was on a 6 fight winning streak before he ran into Daniel Cormier's KO chingaso.  There's one big thing going for Miocic in this fight.  Let's take a closer look at these fighters and then I'll make my UFC 241 fight pick and prediction.

Stipe Miocic is coming into UFC 241 with an overall MMA record of 18-3.  That's an impressive record for heavyweight MMA fighters.  Even more impressive is that before the loss to Cormier, he had defended the championship 3 times!

Stipe Miocic has great MMA style boxing and can turn an opposing fighters brain off quickly!  Miocic has 14 KO/TKO's on his resume. Those KO/TKO's aren't against just anyone, amongst those he's taken out are, Junior Dos Santos, Alistair Overeem, Fabricio Werdum, Andrei Arlovski and Mark Hunt.  It's the who's who of the Heavyweight division.

Stipe Miocic can wrestle and take a punch as well as we saw versus Francis Ngnannou.  In that fight he was out powered so he used his wrestling to outsmart and dominate Ngannou.  With Daniel Cormier though, he's going to have to figure out a way not to fall into wrestling set ups for striking.  Last time that proved to be his downfall.

Daniel Cormier is 22-1 in MMA, he's a champion in the light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions.  When GOAT discussions come up, DC is always in the conversation.  Cormier is arguably the best wrestler in the UFC, and he's created a striking style that blends well with that strength.

At heavyweight, Cormiers KO power seems to have gone up a few notches.  So now not only is his wrestling dangerous, he can win the fight with without it.  Uh oh... But!

Daniel Cormier is now 40 years old.  Judging by his last year in the UFC, age hasn't mattered much as he went 3-0 in 2018 with a TKO, a KO, and a submission.  But, anyone that has turned 40 knows, one day you can feel great, and out of no where, things hurt for no damn reason!

What kind of day will Cormier have when he enters the cage at UFC 241, I'm betting it's going to be one of the feel good days.  Look for him to jab his way into clinches and work Miocic in the clinch.  Miocic will do a better job this time of keeping DC away, but, eventually the gritty wrestling style of DC will cause a mistake my Miocic.  I see Daniel Cormier winning the rematch in the later rounds and remaining UFC Heavyweight Champion!  Possibly, setting up one last fight with Jon Jones!
