Is Bellator Fighter Hector Lombard UFC Ready?

Hector Lombard Fighter
Is Hector Lombard UFC ready? Who is Hector Lombard?  The quick answer to the first question is YES!  As for the second question, Hector Lombard is a monster in the 185 lbs middleweight MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) division. He sports a record of 32-2 which feature 17 KO/TKO's and 7 submissions.  He's currently fighting for the Bellator Fighting Championship MMA organization and holds their middleweight title.  Let's take a look at some of his fight videos and you can judge if he's UFC ready for yourself.

First up in the videos I collected is Hector Lombard vs. Jay Silva at Bellator 18.  Bellator 18 took place May 13, 2010 at the Monroe Civic Center in Monroe, Louisiana.  Check out Lombard's KO power in the video!

You might be thinking that the last video was a fluke.  If so, check out this more recent fight at Bellator 44 featuring a highlight of Hector Lombard vs. Falaniko Vitale.  This fight took place May 14, 2011at the Caesars Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Hector Lombard might have been flying under the radar, but by Bellator 58, the MMA world was well aware of his KO power, yet, Lombard racked up another KO victim.  Check out the Hector Lombard vs. Trevor Prangley highlight video.  This fight took place November 19, 2011 also at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Let's go back a few fights and take a look at one of the fights that began putting Hector Lombard on the map as a fighter who possesses KO chingasos power!  Here's the highlight video of Hector Lombard vs. Herbert Goodman at Bellator 24. Bellator 24 took place August 12, 2010 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida

As you can see, Hector Lombard is the real deal!  He's on a 17 fight winning streak with his last loss coming to Gegard Mousasi via decision way back in 2006.  As an MMA fan, I would love to see him in the UFC as soon as possible.  A couple of warm up fights in the UFC and I think he would be on a collision course with UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva!
